For 20 years the Rotary Club of Boulder, W.A., has been raising funds in the Kalgoorlie Goldfields for local beneficiaries. In conjunction with the local radio station 6KG, the club has been conducting a radio auction yearly since 1985. More than 800 items were auctioned on air in the latest fundraiser. Sixty more valued items held aside for a progressive auction included a new car, sporting memorabilia and a mega-sized stone statue of a gold miner.
