Anaheim the learning experience

Australia’s 23 governors-elect and partners at Wagga Wagga, N.S.W., before a country and western night at the Zone 7/8 Institute.

New Zealand’s six governors-elect and partners before a
plenary session at the Takapuna Institute.

Another Rotary year looms and another group of District governors-elect and their partners leave for that Anaheim training experience this month.
A little later than usual this year, the annual International Assembly is scheduled for the huge Hilton & Towers Hotel in Anaheim, California, U.S.A., from February 15 to 22, 2004.

The 29 District governors-elect from New Zealand (six) and Australia (23) will share an amazing learning experience in Rotary with 529 colleagues from Rotary countries around the world.

For seven days, they will take part in plenary sessions, workshops, special discussion groups, an international concert and numerous dinners and social events.

The representatives from ANZO will arrange Group Study Exchanges, Matching Grant programs and make enduring Rotary friendships .
They will return to their Districts thoroughly briefed on new initiatives and plans for Rotary’s Centenary year, ready to inspire their District officers with the unique training opportunities offered at District PETS and Assemblies.

Of course, the governors-elect have already undergone extensive regional training with special programs before the annual Institutes in New Zealand and Australia for the past two years.
