This program fosters international understanding between Australians and New Zealanders. The program is arranged by the Rotary District, but run largely on a family-to-family basis with assistance from the District committee and the local Rotary club. It is funded by the families directly involved. Young New Zealanders aged between 13 and a half and 16 years on the first day of February of the exchange year program spend the first term of the academic year living and studying in an Australian community as guest of an Australian family. In return, the family of the New Zealand student hosts the Australian student in their own home and community, through the second term. Contact: NZ: All districts
