ROTARY YOUTH SUICIDE
PREVENTION FOUNDATION
A nationwide Rotary project aimed at reducing the extremely high incidence of youth suicide in
New Zealand, the Trust was formed in 1999.
Recognising the need for the best advice as to the allocation of funding, an Advisory Board is appointed,
made up of mental health professionals along with a strong network of professionals
throughout the country for further expert guidance.
Under the direction of Rotary appointed Trustees and the six district representatives, the Trust seeks
funds from Rotary clubs, the community, corporate sector and Government. The Advisory Panel
advises the Board as to how best allocated those funds.
